Demonstrator Policy

Teachers interested in participating on this course must have a willing student with them during the course whom they will spot.

  1. Demonstrators must have a strong bridge recover, cartwheel and handstand as a minimum to safely participate and advance to higher levelled skills such as the back & front walkover with an assisted spot.

  2. Demonstrators are to participate as demonstrators only and are not allowed to spot or engage in risky behaviour.

  3. Module One demonstrators must be between the ages 8-17.

  4. A maximum of two demonstrators may attend at one time. Demonstrators can vary from day to day, but only two may participate per day.

Acrobatic Arts Course Conductors have the right to deem a demonstrator who does not meet the above requirements, unsafe for participation as a demonstrator in the spotting sessions and/or the required teacher practical exam.

If a demonstrator is not allowed to continue for their safety or the safety of the teacher and the registered teacher is unable to complete the requirements of the course, a fee of $100/£60/€70 will be charged and the teacher will be required to attend any or all sessions required by Acrobatic Arts at a future Module 1 Online Certification Course within 3 months of the original course dates.

Certification will be withheld until all course requirements are met.
